Born of heritage barley grown in Atlantic soil, triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills and cut with the purest of water. The time has now come to give something back, to craft spirits that feeds the soul.

We draw inspiration for our spirits from this special marine environment, the unspoilt Atlantic coastline of County Cork.

A unique character

Individually crafted in small batches, Clonakilty Distillery is creating a smooth and elegant whiskey, with the typical floral notes, sweetness and depth that can only be achieved by the very best Irish Single Pot Still whiskey. Matured at our Atlantic Ocean warehouse, it develops a unique and distinct maritime character.

Fresh Cold Water

The water we use to cut our spirit is drawn from a single deep well, remote and unspoilt to enhance every precious drop.

Selected Oak Casks

The very best European and American oak is carefully selected for our primary casks, and always purchased from our trusted suppliers.

Smooth Distillation

Our three Copper Pot Stills have been specially commissioned to carefully distill the smoothest of spirits.

Heritage barley

Centuries of sea mist, soft rain and ocean spray provide a complexity to the soil that permeates right through to each indiviudal grain.
